Virgin & The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival

In June 2016  the fundraising efforts of The Hayling Ferry Trust got off to a flying start when Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, made a generous donation of £5,000 to kick things off.

Clare Satchwell and Mark Coates, from the Hayling Ferry Trust, and Dan Charlish from the Virgin Kitesurfing Armada organisation Team, are seen on Hayling beach celebrating the £5,000 donation and the launch of the Hayling Ferry Trust.

The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival is a long established annual event on Hayling Island - and is very keenly supported by Richard Branson who is a regular participant.

The Trust hopes to reciprocate the support given by Richard Branson, Dan Charlish and the Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Team, by bringing additional visitors to the 2017 event via the new Hayling Ferry service.  The 2017 event is from the 9th to 11th June.

Crowdfunder

The Trust successfully ran a Crowdfunder fundraising appeal from June 16th 2016 to August 10th 2016.  The Appeal met its £15K objective and secured a total of £15,155.  These funds are currently held in the Trust's bank account and will be allocated by the Board of Trustees in due course as required .
